Born and raised in Australia, Jessica was reared on spirited dinner table debates about theology and how faith permeates all aspects of life.

After starting her career as a doctor Jessica completed her PhD in health data, becoming an expert in health informatics. She went on to lead and support multiple national and international for research, healthcare and government projects working for the public good.

Then, in early 2024, Jessica left her comfortable life and career in Melbourne for the Middle East. There, she used technical skills and public health expertise to support the humanitarian response in Gaza by using her, producing data insights that informed on-the-ground aid delivery.

After spending more than 18 months collecting and analysing heartbreaking data that detailed the life threatening conditions faced by those in Gaza, including Christians, Jessica was confronted by one searing question: ‘where was the Church’?

Now back home, Jessica is passionate about empowering all people, but especially Christians, to work together towards are more just future. Through her creative projects, speaking engagements, and advocacy work, Jessica provides opportunities for people to engage, examine and explore their own role in global justice.

Jessica holds a medical degree (MBBS), PhD in Public Health, Graduate Diploma in Arts (Creative Writing), and Graduate Diploma in Divinity.
